A high school drop out makes more money then his parents by playing and reviewing video games.
Only in America can such an opportunity exist. When I was a young kid I used to sneak out of the house against my father’s orders and go to the neighborhood convenient store to play Pac Man and Space Invaders. I had to pay a quarter for a game that lasted not more then about three minutes. I guess I wasn’t that good at it.
These days the video game companies are paying people to play and test their games. WOW!!! Why didn’t they have this twenty five years ago. I would have been a millionaire ten times over by now with all the video games I played and spent my allowance on. I was so addicted to these video games that I didn’t eat lunch at school and saved my lunch money so I could stop at the seven eleven to play Pac Man on my way home from school every day.
Kids today have more money then we could ever dream of and it’s all a result of these research and marketing companies that don’t like having in house employees that have to have insurance and employee benefits, so instead these big companies out source research and development work to kids out side the company. A genius idea I think. Being a business owner myself and having to deal with 27 employees I can see how out sourcing can be beneficial to the company.
My 12 year old son and 14 year old daughter are pulling in several thousand dollars a month playing and testing video games. How can a father instill the value and respect of money into a teenager these days if money is so easy to make? Not only money is so easy to make for these kids, but they are making this money by doing something they already do all day long anyway, and I’m not talking about a few dollars here and there. I’m talking about thousands of dollars. Last month my 12 year old son made $5500 playing video games in his bedroom. I think I’ll start charging him rent. Or maybe I’ll shut down my business and start playing games too. Any one else out there likes this idea take a look at this report.
